Now I get to see what the Germans think about Singapore. This would also put Singapore in the German map as well. I immediately borrowed the book from the library. As I read on in the book, I realise that this book is an utter disappointment.

Originally, I was thinking that the main characters would take a ship to Singapore, see the sights in Singapore, but later on get busted and return to Alstertal in Germany. Unfortunately, none except the "busted and return to Alstertal" actually happened.

Sure, they decided to take a ship to Singapore, but then they get busted by the marine marshal on the cargo ship BEFORE IT LEAVES PORT. Then they get returned. This would probably end up making for a epic disappointment for a novel with such a great title. Heck, the only thing I saw that they said about Singapore is that "the Singaporeans learn English, Chinese, Malay, Indian, and if possible, German as well." They (both the characters and the authors) never actually read up on Singapore, do they?

Some myths they say, BUSTED
FIRST: Singaporeans only learn English and a Mother Tongue, which consists of either Chinese, Malay or Tamil. Non-Tamil Indian languages are also offered but these courses are VERY RARE. Chinese, especially the Hokkien and Teochew dialects, is the most commonly spoken language here.

SECOND: There is no "Indian" language. There are so many Indian languages that, if you manage to draw a line across India, and walk along that line, and the line is drawn correctly, you will realise that the language will change every mile.

For these two myths that they have written, they have FAILED. they could have redeemed themselves for the first myth if the characters actually went to Singapore, but no...

But what is more of an EPIC FAILURE is that they did not even REACH Singapore. It would have been more entertaining if they actually went there and the book mentioned about what is there. That would have been more interesting. INSTEAD, they ended up with some other storyline which destroyed the title COMPLETELY. They would have made a better storyline if they actually followed through with the characters to Singapore instead of having to resort to a wet copout.

IN CONCLUSION, this book failed to live up to its promise of the title. Heck, I could have written a better story myself. It may be ridden with German grammatical errors, but at least the storyline would have been better.

New German Textbook

So I bought this new German textbook. A lot more up to date: 2007 editon, not 1995 edition. As I always do for all textbooks, I did a full scan of the entire book. I later saw something that just did not seem right. Should learn how to see the title of everything, because up there in HUGE RED words is the word 'Flirten' (Yeah, you can probably guess what it means). I did a more indepth sweep and I thought: d00d! They dedicated one entire chapter (51) on flirting?? I showed that to a friend of mine and if there were ever deaths from laughing, he would be the first.

A whole new year in 2010

Ok, so today was the first day of actual schooling this year. After the usual flag raising, there was the physics class. It is about thermodynamics, and they were saying about thermometers. They passed a few thermometers around, and I tried to use the IR thermometer to check the temperature of the lamp above me (55 C). The theaterette is hot, and there is not enough space for everyone.

Then there was Math class. The usual stuff: patterns and sequences. I gave an explanation on the origin of Jens' nickname (will NOT go more indepth for this), but then things went ugly when the teacher decided to call Jens by that nickname.

Before leaving for German class, I had to nominate a female and male class rep. I am literally stepping on a social minefield by nominating myself, but then again I could do with that leadership post. At least I can prove to myself that I can lead the class. Having yourself rejected from the council can have an effect on you. Seriously. I have always thought I could actually lead a class, at least be something better than just 'a student' in school.

What a fail

Lol.

I was trying to look for the album title of the song "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by Disney in iTunes. Get used to it. The average teen-ager uses the phrase "It's not fair" 8.6 times a day. You got it from your parents, who said it so often you decided they must be the most idealistic generation ever. When they started hearing it from their own kids, they realized Rule No. 1.

Rule No. 2: The real world won't care as much about your self-esteem as much as your school does. It'll expect you to accomplish something before you feel good about yourself. This may come as a shock. Usually, when inflated self-esteem meets reality, kids complain that it's not fair. (See Rule No. 1)

Rule No. 3: Sorry, you won't make $40,000 a year right out of high school. And you won't be a vice president or have a car phone either. You may even have to wear a uniform that doesn't have a Gap label.

Rule No. 4: If you think your teacher is tough, wait 'til you get a boss. He doesn't have tenure, so he tends to be a bit edgier. When you screw up, he's not going to ask you how you feel about it.

Rule No. 5: Flipping burgers is not beneath your dignity. Your grandparents had a different word for burger flipping. They called it opportunity. They weren't embarrassed making minimum wage either. They would have been embarrassed to sit around talking about Kurt Cobain all weekend.

Rule No. 6: It's not your parents' fault. If you screw up, you are responsible. This is the flip side of "It's my life," and "You're not the boss of me," and other eloquent proclamations of your generation. When you turn 18, it's on your dime. Don't whine about it, or you'll sound like a baby boomer.

Rule No. 7: Before you were born your parents weren't as boring as they are now. They got that way paying your bills, cleaning up your room and listening to you tell them how idealistic you are. And by the way, before you save the rain forest from the blood-sucking parasites of your parents' generation, try delousing the closet in your bedroom.

Rule No. 8: Your school may have done away with winners and losers. Life hasn't. In some schools, they'll give you as many times as you want to get the right answer. Failing grades have been abolished and class valedictorians scrapped, lest anyone's feelings be hurt. Effort is as important as results. This, of course, bears not the slightest resemblance to anything in real life. (See Rule No. 1, Rule No. 2 and Rule No. 4.)

Rule No. 9: Life is not divided into semesters, and you don't get summers off. Not even Easter break. They expect you to show up every day. For eight hours. And you don't get a new life every 10 weeks. It just goes on and on. While we're at it, very few jobs are interested in fostering your self-expression or helping you find yourself. Fewer still lead to self-realization. (See Rule No. 1 and Rule No. 2.)

Rule No. 10: Television is not real life. Your life is not a sitcom. Your problems will not all be solved in 30 minutes, minus time for commercials. In real life, people actually have to leave the coffee shop to go to jobs. Your friends will not be as perky or pliable as Jennifer Aniston.

Rule No. 11: Be nice to nerds. You may end up working for them. We all could.

Ok. So much for all the philosophy. These actually did not come from Bill Gates at all. They came from a book called Dumbing Down Our Kids: Why American Children Feel Good About Themselves But Can't Read, Write, Or Add. (The list has appeared in newspapers, although not necessarily in this book. It does, however, form the meat of his 2007 book 50 Rules Kids Won't Learn in School: Real-World Antidotes to Feel-Good Education.) by Charles J. Sykes. Many versions omit the next three rules:

Rule No. 12: Smoking does not make you look cool. It makes you look moronic. Next time you're out cruising, watch an 11-year-old with a butt in his mouth. That's what you look like to anyone over 20. Ditto for "expressing yourself" with purple hair and/or pierced body parts.

Rule No. 13: You are not immortal. (See Rule No. 12.) If you are under the impression that living fast, dying young and leaving a beautiful corpse is romantic, you obviously haven't seen one of your peers at room temperature lately.

Rule No. 14: Enjoy this while you can. Sure parents are a pain, school's a bother, and life is depressing. But someday you'll realize how wonderful it was to be a kid. Maybe you should start now. You're welcome.

Impressive this ended up as Bill Gates' words, didn't it?

-Sourced from Snopes.com

So much for Agent Q...

From now on I will be changing my profile name form Agent Q to Aⓖent ⓖ

Birthday

Thursday, 01 October 2009

So I went home after school. After finishing the final touches on my graphed insect, I went to arrange the sheet music 'Love Story' myself. After some time I had to go for Taekwondo class. Being the last lesson before the grading, 4 Oct, the instructor ('Instructor', as I called him), went through the last of the taekwondo grading requirements. After the lesson, everyone was about to be dismissed, and everyone was about to go home, until my parents asked everyone to gather around. I was running around like a headless chicken (lolwut), dunno what to do. This time, I managed to bring enough money for the German dictionary. While waiting for the start of school, I went to see the pond that is just outside the school shop. The pond has tortoises and koi fishes, all sticking their heads out ot see me.

The first lesson was Biology. As luck would have it, I ended up in the middle of a Biology test witha a test paper on something I was never taught about: nerve synapses and the effect of drugs and poisons on synapses. I managed only to draw a rudimentary sketch of the synapse, a humiliation being that I came from a Science school. I left blanks, question marks, and a rare ARRGH! on the rest of the questions, showing that I was really pasted for this test:

"Salvage the pride, Melvin. Salvage the pride." I said to myself.

The teacher later showed the passage that has been circulated many times: the scrambled words messsage from the University of Cambridge, this time in German, and scrambled accordingly.

Next was Religion. Honestly, I think I blanked out during this lesson, only listening to the parts about the meaning of the names, so there is not much to write about...

After Religion is the French class for the students. But because we are not students of the German school, we were instead given a tour of the GESS grounds. The walkthrough was interesting, although we were unable to see a video conference in progress because the other side is closed due to H1N1. Finally, we were given a chance to watch a documentary about the history of Germany from World War 2 to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the crumbling of the Iron Curtain.

What I find interesting about this school is that, without the hot weather and the palm trees, this might as well been Germany. This place is so isolated from the main road that there are no structures that show us that we are in Singapore. No uniquely Singaporean things, no tall buildings, no SBS or SMRT buses, just one- or two-storied houses.

Then was the lunch break. I don't know what is going on with the canteen vendors today, but everything seems to be laced with wasabi. Even the sandwiches and the salad.

The final lesson of the day is Social Studies. Their Social Studies are based on the poilitics of Germany and as with most other lessons, there is not much active teaching on the part of the teacher, just standard issue laptops on the table.

At the end of the day, everyone was waiting at the canteen, waiting for the bus to fetch them to the main road. Before leaving, we went to the school shop to see what is there to buy, and interestingly, they actually sell fountain pens there. The bus arrived, and we went to the main road, anticipating the final day where we say goodbye to our friends here.

German European School Singapore, Day 1

07 SEP 2009

As I walk into the German European School, I know things are not exactly going out to be well. For one, I would end up being the only Secondary 3 boy in the MOELC delegation. Shortly after entering the school, I managed to meet my buddy, Jürgen Hermann. What I noted about these students are that they are a lot larger than most of us here.

We later went to a classroom to introduce ourselves over tea and German bread, and hlaf an hour later, I was brought to their classroom to observe their class.

The largest difference that I saw in this school is that they do not use whiteboards, but instead use blackboards. The Geography class has something that reminded of my past: an Interactive Whiteboard, which I last saw in my primary school days. This effect was extinguished by the blackboard just beside it. Then, I noted that the students all speak German as their common language, instead of English, and interestingly, when you are surronded by students speaking German, you would want to speak German as well. As I wrote the original copy of this journal during class, I was trying quite hard not to let my thought wander, otherwise I would end up with a whole lot of German words in this report.

First class du jour, Math class. The Math class is about coordinate geometry, and linear regression using two points to derive a straight line equation, y=mx+c. This may sound complicated, but that was what I learnt last year. Then again, it is not so impressive, considering that my school specialises in Math and Science.

Next was Physics. This Physics lesson has Chemistry elements inside, in this case the effects of electricity in compounds. They were eletrolysing copper (II) sulphate and observing the effects.

I noticed some strange suction cups hanging from the ceiling during class. These suction cups, as my friend Jürgen noted, are to suck up any smoke that will form during the experiments. The reason why my school does not have or even need these is that the labs in my school are not air conditioned, and the windows are always open.

The last thing we did for the Physics class is to make some circuits.

Thereafter was the German lesson. What they learn in their German lesson is no different form what we learn in English lesson: Argumentative essays. The essays are similar in structure to English ones.

Then there was the lunch break. The food there costs a bomb compared to the food in my school, but then again my school did not give ice cream and an apple to go with the food. I later bought a bottle of apple juice to go with my meal, and I immediately realised why the apple juice is so expensive: it came from Germany, and is like Perrier with apple juice but without the salt.

The last lesson of the day is Geography. No one actually did anything, because the teacher is not there, so the students were taking out their standard-issue laptops to do Geography homework. Then was the end of the school day. I went to the bookshop to find a German dictionary, and the dictionary was very expensive. Oh well, at least I can still bring the money tomorrow...

Wonder how French lesson will go tomorrow...

Yay.

It's the September holidays, and with that are days where I can finally get some real rest. Right now I am doing the finishing touches on my Deutsche Verfilmung video.

So this new edition of Conni-Club came via my other email address. Ok, kill me for doing something so wierd, subscribing to a kid's magazine, but then again this is the limit of my knowledge...

I found this survey in the magazine that I got, and it said: "Are your friends Conni Fans?" The question is interesting, but only if I live in Germany, lol. I could only find "No, but they will be soon" or something meaning that (Nein, aber sie werden es bestimmt bald). Too bad there was no answer that said "No, they do not even know German".

More things...

1. Dunno what's going on...

Really feeling restless today. Dunno why. Especially for Bio class.

2. No IFC today

Well this is good, cos this is going to be messy if I have to go for IFC today, and the Taekwondo tonight is not helping either.

3. German European School Singapore...

So I was selected to go to the German European School Singapore. I quite liked that, but then the school is in some place in Bukit Timah, and there is no MRT or anything. LOLz. Now how do these guys ever keep this up?

4. Now Wonderland...

After my success in Croatian Rhapsody, I decided to scan Wonderland. Croatian Rhapsody

I took the hard task of converting my sheet music to something the computer can actually read. Fortunately, I had a new version of Photoscore Ultimate, and this made the inputting a bit easier. That, however, did not mean that the program was easy to use. After like 5 times, I managed to do it, but they still failed to see some signs, and I had to manually put them in. Well, at least I managed to do it.

2. Yay!

Got selected to go to the German European School for an interaction program organised by the MOELC. Even though it was not as good as going to Germany itself, do i look like I have a choice? (Unless I have a Chronosphere)

3. Dental Appointment D:

No, it's not because of the evil dentist cliche, but it is because I been discovered to have one impacted wisdom tooth. They will need to dig that offending tooth out. I heard it will hurt... Help....

Wednesday
1. Last German Lesson for the term

I borrowed this new book. It is named 'Crazy Days - und viel Theater'. This book is special in that it uses dual language storytelling. Readers must be able to read BOTH English and German, because the story actually interlaces German and English together, with German as the main language.

2. So this is the new Singapore fighter jet...

After the German lesson, I went to a senior recital to see how a senior recital looks like. After all, I believe that there is no better way to see how it is done than seeing the recital for yourself. So I took this taxi back to NUS High. Sure, I'm in a hurry, but there is no need to do 90 km/h on the roads, is there? And what's worse, I am pretty damn sure that the driver would have done 120 if the road was a wee bit longer.

Today's four things:

1. I'm tired

I don't know what's going on. Physics isn't supposed to be boring to me, but this is the first time I have actually become that tired during lesson. Well, at least everything's ok. Gotta watch out for the next wave...

2. Dang that chili.

Asked for that soup with rice. Thinking that chili is a good addition, I placed a nice ladle of chili on the rice. I had to ask for some nice refreshing lemon tea, but it seems that these two things do not mix well...

3. Chem remedial sucks.

It's because of this I have to be holed up in school for another two hours. Time that I could have spent getting the guitar things done.

4. Ken seems to be feeling hyper today

Well, Ken is normally the hyper guy, if not the wierdo, but today is really nuts! It's like, he went around saying goodbye to everyone in class, saying their names individually. Answers and saw this troubling question.

I see this person who looks like she is being abused, but I can't do anything to help. She is in the United States, and I don't have a Chronosphere or what the heck in here, and Singapore laws do not protect anyone outside of Singapore anyway.

It's troubling. Here is a person showing the exact signs of being abused, and it has the signs of the situation in an actual story 'A Child Named "It"' by Dave Pelzer.

I don't know if she is lying, but it does not look like it. I hope she was, but it does not seem like it. She is calling out for help, but as I see it, no one is helping. Her cry for help has gone unnoticed. I wish I could have done something to help.

This is really nerve racking. I feel the abuse, and want to help, but being halfway around the world does not help.

Seriously.

Actual lines as shown:
**************************************
Abuse? LONG paragraph below! beware!?

i'm 17. i'm the middle child. i get called names constantly (and they COMPLETELY deny EVERYTHING im about to state) and criticized and cut down and poked and prodded at by everyone inthis house.(been like this my whole life)older sister younger brother. who are both PERFECT" i live with both myy biological parents. they cut me down and make me cry every day of my life--no exaggeration. they say i'm delusional. make up stuff. they've made me take pills for years. they lay their hands on me. corporal punishment. my "dad" is a lawyer and we live in a big, nice house. social services only made it worse-barely glanced at my twisted elbow.my sis and bro back them up 100% i get good grades, dont do drugs, am celibate, etc. dont go to parties. im grounded every day. they ruin my self confidence. they know i go on the internet. they know everything i do. they're psycho. i know that. but they make ME feel psycho. think just because we are wealthy and they buy me things (which use against me later on) that i'm a spoiled brat. i do not ask for these things and i appreciate them a lot. i appreciate more than normal. i do all chores they ask of me. they will never stop comparing me.i've had light marks. made me bleeed, not too much. but like finger nails dug into me, hands around neck, shaking me till im dizzy, making me sit in a chair for hours. i can go on and on and on. yet they still make me feel like i truly truly am insane. because i talk back. i try tostand up for myself. i do w.e chores they ask i really do. they say i dont follow rules. one being that im disloyal and tell my cllose friends very small details. i didnt start stealing and lying for lunch money until the past two years or so. because they accused me of it earlier. i decided i needed it anyway. the point is they step on me. i'm a piece of dirt. confine me to their room and yell at me for HOURS NAD HOURS AND HOURs. say they have cameras watching me. i'm an idiot. because now they use the whole "oh yeah we are SOOOOOo abusive"(mocking me) comments i made out of lots and lots of anger earlier on. they have problems with their own parents. do my "siblings" do this just to save their own skin? they are treated like gold and me-dirt. for as long as i can remember.

Additional Details, posted 12:14 GMT, 23 August 2009
I hole up in my room but they come in here they want drama and they want a reaction. i try not talking brandon. that doesnt work. I live in the USA-female :(. i want to get muscles now to defend myself! 0.o!

Question asked by CollegeBound??? in Yahoo! The two brothers were caught modifying the family car into a flying car. They were immediately sent to the 'Smile Away Reformatory School', where their creativity was crushed, like what the Soviets did to dissidents, with equal amounts of brutality, by a dictator-soldier who believes that the cause of misbehaviour among children is the excess of creativity. No wonder his conscripts are stupider than rocks, which will be seen later.

Candace suddenly feels free to do all the things she wanted to do in the summer holidays. (For non-Americans, the summer holidays are three months long. You can get really bored in this. )After some time of fun and games, she feels lonely, thinking about her brothers and the big hole in the house which they would have fixed long ago had they not been sent away. (The big hole came about because the platform for the flying car crashed down on the house.) She turns on the TV and sees her brothers being tortured in the reformatory school, and decides to break them out of prison (I don't give a damn about writing 'reform school').

Her boyfriend, Jeremy, comes along and offers to help. Using the flying car, they fly all the way to outside the prison, where Candace's expertise in driving causes them to crash. They walk all the way to the prison, where they manage, after many tries, to break in by disguising as camera crew.

Inside the prison, they see that Phineas and Ferb have been denigrated into robots. Unable to run away on their own, Candace and Jeremy carry the stiff as wood Phineas and Ferb out of the prison.

Their escape causes a manhunt for the camera crew, instead pouncing on a lone cactus in the forest. These conscripts were so stupid, when the dictator wears the disguise, he becomes the conscripts' target.

The four people reach a dead end, where the destroyed car is. In her desperation to get Phineas and Ferb to fix the car, she ends up making the car fall down the cliff.

Phineas and Ferb manage to regain their former creative selves, but end up being cornered by the dictator.

*WARNING! Things will get more nonsensical!*

Then Perry the platypus, in his secret agent mode, comes out of the ground with Dr. Doofenshmirtz's oversized Terror Drone, and kicks the dictator off the cliff. After all the hell is done, Jeremy asks if he can marry her, and she agrees.

Candace turns around, and sees her parents, then she sees them controlled by (?), and then (?) get controlled by a zebra.

Candace wakes up. It was all a dream.

She tells the entire family about the dream, and tells about Perry the platypus being a secret agent.

Suddenly, the entire family gets taken away. A person tells Perry that his cover has been blown, and needs to relocate.

Perry wakes up. It was all a dream (damn clichéd). So it is really Perry's dream.

Phineas notices Perry stirring in his sleep, and comforts him.

*********************************************************

This is quite intriguing, noting that this is a dream within a dream. If this were coded in HTML, it would look like this:

[Actual World]
[Phineas and Ferb Show]
[Perry's dream]
[Candace's dream]
document.write actual story
[/Candace's dream]
document.write interjection in story
[/Perry's dream]
[/Phineas and Ferb Show]
[/Actual World]

Things may be stupid, but it brings up an interesting point that people have always wondered: When you are dreaming that you are someone else, are you actually dreaming that you are that person, or are you that someone else dreaming that he is you during your waking hours?

Impressive that the US government in the show did nothing to the prison.

Shocking...

I read the info for majoring in Music, and was I shocked.

I had to transfer to a new CCA.

I could have joined a Guitar Ensemble if there was one, but no, there wasn't.

Chinese Orchestra, according to Matt, sucked. As the Cambridge Advanced Learner’s Dictionary explains, “bullying is the action of hurting or frightening someone who is smaller or less powerful than you, often forcing them to do something they do not want to do”. Therefore, cyber-bullying is the similar action, but in the digital aspect.

Teenagers are going through a very tough time with their transition from childhood to adulthood. What they really need in the wide world is peer acceptance. Cyber-bullying serves to destroy a person’s acceptance among peers. According to a 14-year-old teenager who was once cyber-bullied: “They say sticks and stones may break my bones but words will never hurt me. That quote is a lie and I don’t believe in it. Sticks and stones may cause nasty cuts and scars but those cuts and scars will heal. Insulting words hurt and sometimes take forever to heal.” In addition, cyber-bullying can and will leak out into the real world, like when a person makes up a website to insult the target and this will progress into public alienation, and then it will become no more different to actual bullying.

However, I also see of cases whereby there are people who deny the existence of cyber-bullying, and explain that cyber-bullying really is not that serious. They say that the Internet is the final place where “true freedom of speech” can be practiced, and with the crackdown of cyber-bullying, this “true freedom of speech” will be destroyed. If so, they should tell that to the parents of teenagers who committed suicide after being cyber-bullied. These people should ask themselves: This world needs a place of solace after the real and cruel world. What do they really mean by “true freedom of speech”? Is it the ability to express ideas in the expense of other people? When the real world out there is as cold and cruel as it can get, anyone will need a place to escape from it. The Internet looks like a great place, before jerks start overrunning it and turn it into a world more cold and cruel than the real world.

Again, the people who argue that cyber-bullying is not that serious is that they used to call it “people being idiots”, and that the idea of people saying “ur fat lulz” (sic) on the Internet and that they are scarred for life is being stupid. Who are they trying to kid? This is the 21st century, not the ‘80s or the ‘90s. Computer usage is so widespread that the cyber world is now integrated with the real world, and that real world bullying can leak into the cyber world, and the opposite applies as well.

And finally to the people who deny the existance of cyber-bullying: Up yours

Sources:

http://dontcyberbully.com/
Website launched by the parent mentioned above (EN)

http://cyberbullying.us/blog/is-cyberbullying-really-that-bad.html
Is Cyber-Bullying really that bad? It has been long since I wrote in (half a year ago...), but that Sunday before, my family went to Qian Hu Fish Farm to catch a few 'longkang' fish. The fish were hard to catch, due to their experience of fishing net behaviour and the 'fly-swatter' net provided.
Anyway, we later went to buy a few fish for the fish tank. After buying a hermit crab, a few green round spotted puffer fish which we later realised that they were actually quite aggressive, we bought a albino pleco and a pair of strange suckers. They stuck very much to the side of the tank like... well... suckers. They were hard to remove from the tank using only a net. We had to use our finger to get it out. I wonder if anyone can identify that fish, and at best tell me the Latin scientific name...
Picture of unidentified fish:<img id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5230901777166129106" style="DISPLAY: block; Let's hope you're a benevolent dictator!

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.

You are solid and dependable. You don't appreciate them trying to interfere in your affairs.

You are incredibly wise and perceptive. You have a lot of life experience.

You are a natural peacemaker, and you are especially good at helping others get along.

But keeping the peace in your own life is not easy. You see things very differently, and it's hard to get you to budge.

You are truly an original person. You don't get worked up easily.

Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are very hyper. You never slow down, even when it's killing you.

You're the type of person who can be a workaholic during the day... and still have the energy to party all night.

Your energy is definitely a magnet for those around you. People are addicted to your vibe.

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.

You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.

You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

What's Your Name's Hidden Meaning?

Note:

Some parts are not true about me.

Like the first paragraph, first two sentences.

idk about the last sentence of the first paragraph

But then again, wait... I could say that it was rather good. Acoustics were wonderful, but the seats were not comparable to the SJI PAC in terms of viewing ability, especially the UL and UR seats. In the SJI PAC, everyone seems to be able to see the orchestra and the videos at the stage. The same could not be said with the UCC. Even with the UL seats at the furthest back, I could only see the right half of the whole performance.

The behaviour of the audience was rather substandard. At very important times, the audience will make a huge hullabaloo and talk among each other. Already troubled by not being able to see the band play, the inability to hear the band play the instruments is ever more irritating.
The only one which I could say was the best was 'The Fumblers'. It was very funny and the fact that makes it funnier is that it is a true account.
On the whole, the performance was wonderful with the exception of the seats which I could not see anything about the performance. Kevin, I really thank you for suggesting me to sit on the seat at the back and thus allowing me to see the performance!

© Copyright of Wong Zhan Wen Melvin, 102, 27

. . . - - - . . .

New blog started!

12/4/2007......New blog started under the name quantumpixels!
